Okeewemee 10 is a regionally sourced stoneware made from red clay.This sample is dry clay. Water is added to it to make wet clay, and then it will be formed and fired.

  • Well-suited for glazed pottery, as seen in many historical Catawba Valley pots, as well as in gas, wood, or salt kilns
  • Often used for wheel-throwing, hand-building, and slab work
