Animated linen is a handwoven and hydromorphic textile that changes shape when exposed to moisture due to the high twist in the linen weft. The sample can be activated by spraying with water or when placed in a very humid environment. As it dries, the linen twist relaxes and can be activated repeatedly.
Handling Notes
- Can be used to create changeable, movable textiles - experiment with tension for motion
