Blank copper conductive thread is a flexible fiber that conducts electricity, while handling like regular sewing thread. It enables the integration of electrical pathways into fabric, making it ideal for sewn or soft circuits and e-textiles. This sample was made in Germany, hence the German kupfer.
Handling Notes
- High-Flex 4355 Kupfer Blank copper thread is used for applications needing antistatic properties, such as smart textiles, wearable tech, data transmission, and heating
- The conductive threads feature fine, flattened wires coiled around them
- Stitch like regular thread, but avoid sharp bends and stitch slowly to prevent snapping the wire core
