Glass stringers are thin strands of molten glass that have been stretched into long, filament-like lines and cooled.
Handling Notes
- Glass stringers can be used to create unique line designs and patterns in glassblowing
- Melt in during the gather phase (initial step of collecting a blob of molten glass from the furnace onto the end of a blowpipe or punty rod)
