Ethyl-vinyl alcohol (EVA) foam is a soft, flexible plastic foam made from a synthetic polymer which includes additives such as wax and resin, making it soft, flexible, waterproof, and durable.

Composition

Ethylene, vinyl acetate

Handling Notes

  • Often used as an adhesive, similar to the material in hot glue sticks, as well as in craft foam sheets used for foam stickers
  • It softens at 176° F; keep away from heat guns and direct heat sources during use
  • Never burn or laser cut without heavy ventilation
